Dr. Stephen Northrop has been teaching history for over 20 years. He loves directing the YOM History & Political Science Camp and having the privilege of mentoring campers. For Dr. Northrop, studying history is vital because it allows you to understand the past, which in turn lets you understand the present—and keeps us from repeating the same mistakes.
As a Christian educator, Dr. Northrop desires that each camper learns why history is vital to Christians and how God has blessed our country. Camp with Dr. Northrop is an experience like no other, as he takes you back in time and brings the heroes of the past to life before your eyes.
Camp is led by Pensacola Christian College history and political science faculty, who will instruct, lead, and challenge you to develop a historian’s mindset—and a Christian perspective.
